Hampton Football Standout returns as new Assistant Sports Information Director

Hampton, VA. - Adrian Wideman has been named Assistant Sports information Director for the Hampton University Department of Athletics. He vill serve as primary contact for all the Lady Pirates intercollegiate sports. Wideman replaces Jamar Ross, who was recently named Sports information Director of Winston-Salem State University.

Wideman received his B.S. in Mass Media Arts from Hampton in 2000. He was selected as an AII-MEAC tight end in 1998-99 and Pre-Season All-Arnerican in 1999. He is a native of Cokesbury, South Carolina and a graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, SC.
