| B-CC presents second Hall of Fame induction ceremony November 6, 2001DAYTONA BEACH, FL --- The Bethune-Cookman College Booster Club will present its second Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. at the Rosen Centre on International Drive in Orlando. Seventeen former athletes, administrators and humanitarians will be inducted into the athletic shrine. This year's inductees include Bernard Hawk, who holds six school passing records; former athletic director Lloyd "Tank'' Johnson; former basketball star and now Daytona Beach City Commissioner Yvonne Scarlett-Golden; Dr. Jno. Frink (posthumously), Booster Club organizer; Marion Yvonne Pinder Allen (posthumously); Mike Ardis; Charles "Boobie'' Clark (posthumously); Robert Harris; Hubert Hemsley (posthumously); Ernestine Humphrey; James "Red'' Humphrey; Eugene McCray (posthumously); Maxwell "Maxie'' Nebold (posthumously); Margaret Taylor; Ernestine L. Williams-Walker (posthumously) and former Daytona Beach City Commissioner Rufus "Buddy'' Young. |
