Elizabeth City State University has announced the appointment
of Revonda Whitley as the new Head Coach of the Lady Viking
Volleyball Team.
Coach Whitley, a graduate of Winthrop University, has served
as an assistant coach for the Lady Viking Basketball Team since
2001. She is also an instructor in the Department of Health
and Physical Education at ECSU.
While at Winthrop, Coach Whitley played basketball for the
Eagles for four seasons. She obtained a BS in Psychology in
1994 and completed her Masters in Sports Psychology for the
University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1997.
