Howard University announces its 2003 football schedule. The Bison, who finished 6-5 last season, will play its first 12-game schedule. The schedule features first-time opponents University of Akron (September 20) on the road and at Savannah State (September 27).
The home schedule includes Morris Brown College (August 30), Hampton University (September 13), Florida A&M for homecoming (October 11), South Carolina State (November 8) and Bethune-Cookman College (November 15).
All home games will start at 12 noon EST. The starting time for road games will be announced later:
