Atlanta, GA – The 16th Annual SIAC Volleyball
Tournament will begin Wednesday, November 13,
2002 and conclude on Thursday, November 14,
2002 at the Frankfort Convention Complex and
Arena in Frankfort, KY. Kentucky State University
is the host institution.
The City of Frankfort, Frankfort Area Chamber,
Frankfort Tourism and Downtown Frankfort, Incorporated
have been instrumental in helping to stage the
tournament and provide each SIAC member institution
and their student-athletes with a great experience.
Frankfort is a fabulous city for the tournament
because of the support for volleyball from the
surrounding community, architectural styles,
landmarks, museums and unique shopping. For

When tournament play begins Kentucky State
University will be the number one seed in the
west division and Albany State University will
be the number one seed in the east division.
Conference play has been extremely competitive
throughout the season and the SIAC Office expects
a very tightly contested tournament. Double
elimination play begins at 9 a.m., Wednesday,
November 13, 2002 at the Frankfort Convention
Complex and Arena located at 450 Mero Street,
Frankfort, KY 40601.
