Seven players from HBCUs were named 2003 Preseason All-Americans by Don
Hansen's Football Gazette. Three offensive players and four defensive standouts were picked.
A total of 100 players - 50 offense, 50 defense - representing all four geographic regions of NCAA Division II were named to the 2003 Football Gazette Preseason All-America Team.
This marks the 16th year Don Hansen's Football Gazette, a recognized authority on small caollege football, has selected NCAA Division II all-America and preseason All-America teams.
