TUSCALOOSA, AL---The Stillman College Department of Athletics
recently released the 2004 Tiger football schedule. Stillman
will play five home games and five games on the road.
The Tigers' schedule includes new opponents in Texas College
and Austin Peay State University. Texas College is a member
of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)
and Austin Peay participates at the NCAA Division I-AA level
and is a member of the Pioneer Football League.
Stillman will open the 2004 season in Columbia, SC to face
Benedict College (8/28/04) and the following week the Tigers
will travel to Jackson, TN to play Lane College (9/4/04). After
that, the Tigers host Kentucky State University at Stillman
Stadium (9/18/04). Stillman will then travel to Birmingham,
AL to face Miles (9/25/04) and then back to Stillman Stadium
against Texas College (10/2/04).
In the middle of October the Tigers will make their final two
road games of the season. Stillman will take its longest road
trip of the season to Jefferson City, MO to face Lincoln University
(10/9/04). The Tigers will travel to Jacksonville, FL to play
Edward Waters College (10/23/04).
Starting with Fort Valley State University, the Third Annual
Druid City Classic, (10/30/04) the Tigers will be at home for
the remainder of the season that include games against Clark
Atlanta University (11/6/04) and the Homecoming game against
Austin Peay (11/13/04).
The Tigers finished the 2003 season with a 5-5 record.
