NASHVILLE -- Kathy Roulhac has been announced as Tennessee State
University's head volleyball coach by Athletic Director Teresa L. Phillips.
"Kathy has enjoyed tremendous success as a coach. She has great national
recruiting contacts and we are looking forward to her bringing quality athletes
into the program," Phillips said. "We are excited to welcome her
into the Tiger family and even more excited about the good things ahead for
TSU volleyball."
Roulhac comes to the Lady Tigers from North Carolina A&T State University
where she served as head coach for the last ten years. She helped the Lady
Aggies to three consecutive 20-win seasons from 2000-2002, the school's best
ever three-year period. Roulhac also coached a total of 12 different All-Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference (MEAC) Players, including five First Team selections.
The 1987 graduate of North Carolina A&T State served the athletic department
in several capacities over the last ten years, including a two-year stint as
Interim Senior Women's Administrator (1996-98) and nine years as the assistant
academic coordinator
