Turkey
Day Classic conflicts resolved
November 10, 2004
The following
joint statement was released jointly by Alabama State University
President Joe A. Lee, and
Tuskegee University President Benjamin F. Payton:
"In the course of negotiating for this year's
Turkey Day Classic, we ran
into some obstacles. Those matters have been addressed, and
the game will
be played as scheduled, November 25, 2004. We look forward
to an exciting
contest between two great football teams."
