MEAC
announces 2004 football television schedule
October 2, 2004
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
has announced its football television schedule for the remainder
of the 2004 football season. There will be seven games televised
by Integrated Sports Media (ISM TV) beginning this Saturday
as Bethune-Cookman takes on Morgan State in Baltimore, Md.
“I’m very pleased that we are able to provide
outstanding TV coverage for football for our fans, alumni
and supporters,” said MEAC Commissioner
Dennis Thomas. “We have added another dimension to
our TV package by keeping the last two games open and televising
any teams that are in contention for the conference championship
the last two weeks of the season.”
ISM TV is a media production and distribution company that
will broadcast games on over 10 networks including Time Warner,
Empire Sports Network, Fox College Sports, Fox Sports Net
and Comcast Sports Net.
Chrysler will sponsor a commercial-free halftime for each
game allowing fans to view the bands of the participating
schools. Each school of the MEAC will be televised at least
once as well as the homecoming games of North Carolina A&T,
South Carolina State and Hampton.
