Miles College announces 2006 Football
Schedule

FAIRFIELD, AL - Miles College has announced its 10-game football
schedule for the 2006 season, by Golden Bears athletic director
Augustus James on Saturday.
Miles College will open the season on the road game with Division
1-AA Samford University Bulldogs on Thursday, August 31, at
Seibert Stadium on Samford campus and then an open date, before
opening up conference play at Tuskegee University on September
9. On September 16, Fort Valley State University will come
to Fairfield for a non-conference match-up, before meeting
Stillman College in Birmingham, AL at Legion Field on September
24 for the Six Annual Steel City Classic. Lincoln (MO) University
will invade Miles campus on September 30, then the Golden Bears
hit the road on October 7 to play Albany State University and
Lane College on October 14.
The Golden Bears will end the season with two home games and
the 2nd Annual Knoxville Legacy Classic in Knoxville, TN. On
October 21, Kentucky State University will come to town for
homecoming and Langston University on October 27.
Miles will finish the season with Morehouse College in Knoxville,
TN in the 2nd Annual Knoxville Legacy Classic on November 11.
