Bamastatesports.com is new Internet home for Alabama
State University Athletics

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State University has changed its home for
all information about ASU athletics on the World Wide Web. The new address
is www.bamastatesports.com.
Through its partnership with College Sports TV Online and with input from
the ASU Office of Sports Information, this site is designed and dedicated to
keeping fans of ASU sports up-to-date on what is going on with the Hornets
and Lady Hornets as they battle to represent the best of Alabama State University
athletics.
“Bamastatesports.com is a definite upgrade from our previous website,” said
A.A. Moore, Alabama State University’s Director of Sports Information. “Fans,
alumni, anyone who wants to find out about what is going on with ASU athletics
will have a one-stop spot to retrieve the information. The aesthetics are vastly
improved, as are the interactive capabilities.”
While new items are being added daily, information is currently available
on the website, including schedules, rosters and statistics for the 2005-06
athletic campaign. Visitors to this site will be able to view information on
all of Alabama State’s athletic teams, including up-to-date statistics
and updates on events within minutes of completion.
There are currently sponsorship opportunities for companies looking to reach
many top demographics, with the ability to directly contact coaches via e-mail
and purchase tickets to ASU athletic events and Hornet merchandise arriving
shortly. This will make www.bamastatesports.com the premiere location for all
that is Alabama State University athletics.
