Labor Day Classic Rescheduled for November 25

Houston, TX- Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M announced that the Labor Day Classic will be played November 25, 2005 at Reliant Stadium. Game time is 1:00pm.

Texas Southern University Athletics Director, Alois Blackwell says, “We know a lot of college football fans have been anxiously awaiting this announcement and I appreciate their patience during this process. We are pleased with the outcome, and now our focus will be to get the word out about this great match up.”

The original game was postponed in respect for the displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina. FEMA was using Reliant Park as a shelter for the victims left homeless from the storm, and all Reliant’s resources were being used to help the people in need.

Tickets purchased for the original TSU vs. PV Labor Day Classic football game will be honored. No refunds will be issued.
