Onnidan Online adds CIAA Report to podcast lineup
October 26, 2007
Onnidan’s Black College Sports Online, considered by many to be the most comprehensive source on the Internet for sports information about America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), has added The CIAA Report to its lineup of podcasts.
Produced through the facilities of WVST-FM by sports director and former CIAA Broadcaster of the Year Sean Robertson, The CIAA Report is now in its fifth year providing a recap and preview of football activities in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. The 30-minute show airs weekly on Saturday mornings on WVST-FM 91.3 in Petersburg, WAUG-AM 750 in Raleigh/Durham and is now be available as a podcast.
"This has been the best year of the CIAA Report,” said Robertson. "With the show being picked up in Raleigh and now being podcast, the CIAA Report continues to grow and grow."
“Sean and his staff do an excellent job of covering CIAA football,” said Eric Moore, Onnidan Online Managing Editor. “The information that his crew is providing needed a wider audience and we are happy to add the report to our podcast lineup.”
Begun in November, 1996, Onnidan Online has been exclusively devoted to covering sports information related to HBCUs. In addition to its newsroom, composite schedules and Fan Forum, the site also hosts electronic versions of the Black College Sports Page, a weekly syndicated newspaper insert that is distributed to African-American newspapers through the country.
