Shaw's Mills appointed to State Certification Board

Raleigh, NC – David Mills, Director of Sports Medicine at Shaw University has been appointed by the North Carolina House of Representatives to serve on the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners as a certified athletic trainer.
Mills was chosen because of his stellar career in the discipline. Representative Garland E. Pierce, (Hoke, Robeson and Scotland Counties) stated, “I am confident that the Board could not have selected a better candidate to serve while knowing that all concerns, questions and expectations will be met. He will be a valuable asset to our great State.”
 Mills stated, “I am honored to be chosen to serve on this prestigious Board and I will work diligently to serve the needs of North Carolina.”
Al Carter, Director of Athletics stated, “We are proud of David. He is an invaluable part of our team and he will certainly serve our State well. Please join me in congratulating him on this new appointment.”
