SWAC terminates three more staffers

The web site TSPNSports.com has reported, and our sources have confirmed, three more terminations in the SWAC Conference Office. SWAC Assistant Commissioner for Championships Jennifer Huggins, Director of Finance Deborah Vaughn and Director of Media Relations William Bright were terminated last Thursday (1/8/09).
This brings to eight, the total number of terminations since Duer Sharp was named SWAC Commissioner in January, 2008 and essentially completes a purge of the conference staff. Two former employees on staff when Sharp had "interim" removed from his title left on their own.
 Conference liaison Milton Taylor becomes the only employee in the conference office still remaining from the personnel on staff when former Commissioner Robert Vowells left for a position with the NCAA in June, 2007.
