Knox, who is transitioning from a position at Lincoln (PA) to a similar job at Kutztown University, was elected BCSIDA president at their annual meeting in Tampa in 2008. He joined the Lions' staff in 2004 as the school's first full-time SID since 1977 and will be leaving on June 30. His first day at Kutztown will be July 6.
In addition to her service on the board, Emory, sports information director at Elizabeth City State, was honored as the 2009 College Division Rising Star at this year's convention. The award is presented to a College Division member with 10 years of service or less whose work at their institution and service, dedication; energy and enthusiasm to the profession make that individual a “rising star” in sports information.
