Sam Hanger named Assistant AD at Fayetteville State

Fayetteville State University has named Sam Hanger, associate head men's basketball coach as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance.

Hanger is a graduate of State University of New York-Bringhamton with a degree in History and Africian-American Literature. His duties include basketball recruiting and scouting.

He joined the Bronco staff in 1997 as coach and lecturer with the Physical Education Department after spending three seasons at Winston-Salem State University as men's basketball coach. Hanger brings twenty-one years coaching, teaching, administrative, and supervisory experience to the Department of Athletics.
