| SSU's Moore to Compete in USATF Junior NationalsJune 8, 2001Tommy Moore, a Savannah State University freshmen hurdler from Athens, Georgia and 2000 graduate of Cedar Sholes High School, will compete in the USATF Junior Nationals on June 16-17 in Richmond, Virginia. Moore met the qualifying standard when he ran 14.6 in the Georgia Invitational Track & Field Meet at the University of Georgia in May. Moore is also a member of the school record-setting (3:11.00) 4x400 relay team. The SSU record was set at the Florida State University Invitational in March of this year. Moore is a native of Athens, Georgia and a 2000 graduate of Cedar Sholes High School. |
