Norfolk State Athletics adds two

The Norfolk State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced two additions to its staff. Christian Johnson has been appointed Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations and Jacqueline McWilliams has been named Compliance Coordinator.

Johnson, a 1999 graduate of NSU, began working July 8 and will assume the duties of all athletic related publications, statistics and sports marketing. He comes to the Spartan program following a season as a Public Relations Assistant with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

McWilliams comes to NSU after four years as Director of Compliance for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Last year she also served as Director of Championships for the conference. McWilliams has a Master's of Education in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Hampton University. She was also a member of Hampton's 1988 Division II National Championship women's basketball team. She will begin her new duties on August 1.
