  • (8/12/10) Prairie View A&M has announced the hiring of two assistant basketball coaches.  Ansar Al-Ameen has been named Assistant Men's Coach while Dawn Brown has been named Women's Basketball Assistant Coach.
  • (8/11/10) Shaw University has hired Anita Griffin as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.  Most recently, Griffin served as Director of Intramurals at North Carolina A&T.
  • (8/11/10) Saint Augustine’s College has announced that Marquita Davis and Carlitta Moore have joined the athletic staff. Davis is the new assistant track and field coach and Moore is the new assistant athletic trainer.
  • (8/7/10) Norfolk State University Athletics Director Marty L. Miller has announced that Brandon Duvall has been named the Spartan volleyball team’s interim head coach for the 2010-11 school year, effective Aug. 12. Duvall steps in for Jennifer Fry, who recently accepted an assistant coaching position at Washington State.
