Dr. LeRoy T. Walker, chancellor emeritus of North Carolina Central University and former president of the United States Olympic Committee, will be memorialized on Tuesday, May 1. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, April 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the B.N. Duke Auditorium on the campus of NCCU. The funeral for Dr. Walker will be held on May 1, at 11 a.m., at Duke University Chapel.

The Walker family is establishing the Dr. LeRoy T. Walker Distinguished Professorship at NCCU and requests donations be made to the fund in lieu of flowers.
