FUQUAY-VARINA, NC - The nationally syndicated FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW, the sports talk radio show which places major emphasis on HBCU Sports, will celebrate its 6th year and 300th on the air on August 20. "Despite many obstacles and challenges, we have continued to persevere," said Donal Ware the show's founder and host. "To be able to sustain this long. it is really unbelievable. I want to thank the listeners, the fans, the supporters, the PR personnel, the guests, everyone that has continued to support FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW and HBCU Sports. It is truly a blessing." FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW is in the third week of its annual Countdown to Kickoff. Guests that will appear on this week's show will include head football coaches at new schools. The show will also celebrate its 300th show by replaying interviews from previous shows and giving away prizes. FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW airs weekly and debuted on August 20, 2005. Markets that carried that first show include Baltimore, Atlanta, Raleigh, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, and Birmingham. FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW now airs on 38 radio stations around the country including in top 50 markets including San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Austin, TX, Hampton Roads, Nashville, and Greensboro/Winston-Salem.
