With Wednesday as a day off for HBCU performers except for Semoy Hackett (Lincoln-MO), the only remaining track and field events for HBCU products in the 2012 Olympics are the relays with the notable exception of Jackson State sophomore Anso Jobodwana (South Africa). Hackett finished eighth in the women's 200m final on Wednesday. Jobodwana, a 20-year-old Biology major, has qualified for the men's 200m final and will be running out of Lane 9 Thursday afternoon at 3:55pm ET. |
