ATLANTA—The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced that its 2012 Basketball Tournament will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia for the third consecutive year. The 2012 tournament will tip-off Tuesday, February 28th through Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at Frank L. Forbes Arena on the campus of Morehouse College.

The 79th installment of the SIAC Basketball Tournament will feature a week-long schedule of events, beginning with SIAC College Fair along with the SIAC Cheerleading & Dance Competition on Monday, February 27th, 2012.

The schedule of events will also feature the Inaugural SIAC Presidents’ Dinner, including special guest Jamie Foster Brown, owner and publisher of Sister 2 Sister Magazine. In addition, events scheduled also include the Athletic Directors and Coaches Reception, the SIAC Championship post-game concert, and other ancillary events which will be announced later.
