Former Baltimore Colts great Lenny Moore will be the guest speaker at the 1998 Coppin State Athletic Awards Banquet on May 8 at the Marriott Inner Harbor.
Coppin will present awards to its 1997-98 athletes, including the school’s male and female athletes of the year.
WJZ sports anchor John Buren will serve as co-emcee, along with former Eagle basketball standout Phil Booth. Cost is $40 per person, $70 per couple and $25 for students. For tickets or information, call 410-383-5630.
