Albany State University to host 2001 SIAC volleyball championships

Albany State University (ASU) will host the 2001 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Volleyball Championships on Nov. 1-2 in Albany, Ga.

The 2001 volleyball tournament games will feature SIAC teams, including the Albany State University Lady Rams, Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers, Fort Valley State University Lady Wildcats, Kentucky State University Thorobrettes, Lane College Lady Dragons, LeMoyne Owen College Lady Magicians, Miles College Lady Bears, Paine College Lady Lions and the Tuskegee University Lady Tigers.

Volleyball play begins Thursday, Nov. 1, at the HPER Gymnasium Arena at Albany State. The championship game will be Friday, Nov. 2. Seeds and brackets will be announced at a later date.

All championship games are free and open to the public.
