News is reporting that the SWAC
Commissioner's job has been offered to Robert
Vowels. Vowels is currently commissioner
of the SIAC and is said to be "contemplating"
the offer. When reached at his office in Atlanta,
Vowels chose not to comment.

- Grambling
State University football will now be just a click
away this season. The Grambling Sports Radio Network
will broadcast all GSU Football games and The Doug
Williams Show on the Internet at www.bayou.com/grambling.
"This is a big step for us," said Santoria Black,
Network Director. "It allows us to get into other
markets and it allows GSU fans to listen to football
games and the coaches' shows without interruption.
The Tigers get the season underway on August 31 in
Lake Charles, LA against Mc Neese State.
