• North Carolina Central University sophomore Katerina Glosova ran to victory in the 2000 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship on Saturday, covering the 6k course at Hagan Stone Park in Greensboro, NC in a time of 23:13.
  With the win, Glosova advances to the NCAA Division II Championship meetin Pomona, California on Nov. 18, her second consecutive trip to the nationalchampionship event.
  In addition, Glosova, a native of Cernotin, Czech Republic andback-to-back CIAA Champion, was named the 2000 NCAA Division II SoutheastRegion Female Cross Country Athlete of the Year.
