BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference updated its 2013-14 men and women’s basketball television schedule for the season. The remaining television schedule features eight games on ESPN networks including 10 contests on the SWAC Digital Network (SDN).
The line-up of networks to feature SWAC basketball includes: ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN3, FOX Sports Network, FOX SportsSouth, CSS, CSN Houston, Big Ten Network, PAC-12 Network, and Comcast Sports Net.
Four men’s SWAC conference games will air on ESPNU. The match ups slated features: Southern at Texas Southern (Jan. 6), Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Texas Southern (Jan. 27), Prairie View A&M at Alabama A&M (Feb. 3) and Mississippi Valley State at Southern (Feb. 17).
SDN will broadcast five men and women conference double-headers including: Jackson State at Alcorn State (Jan. 11), Texas Southern at Prairie View A&M (Feb. 8), Alabama State at Alabama A&M (Feb. 15) and Alcorn State at Alabama A&M (Feb. 24).
The broadcast schedule closes out in Houston, Texas at the 2014 Toyota SWAC Basketball Tournament.
The women and men's championship game will be shown live March 15. The women on ESPN3 at noon with tape delay slated for Sunday (March 16) at 4 p.m. on ESPNU. The men’s final is set to air live on ESPN2 at 3:30 p.m. All times are central.
