The Fort Valley State University Athletics Department is auctioning 10 autographed championship t-shirts and three of the actual game balls used in the SIAC Football Championship Game signed by the team captains and Head Coach Kevin Porter.fvsu cat

Proceeds will be used to purchase championship rings for the team.

The 2016 championship is the first in 17 years for the Wildcats.

Bidding for the t-shirts starts at $50.00. Higher bids must be made in increments of $10.00. Bidding for the game balls start at $250.00. Higher bids must be made in increments of $25.00. The auction will be conducted silently through the athletic department's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/fvsusports.

There are 10 separate t-shirt auctions and 3 football auctions taking place simultaneously. All bids must include: The item you are bidding on i.e., t-shirt#1, t-shirt#2, football#1, football#2 your full name and contact information including a phone number. If you wish to bid electronically, send your bid to . Each bid will receive a return email verifying the item and the bid amount.

Three times each day the Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/fvsusports/ and the athletic department's main website at www.fvsusports.com will be updated to reflect the current highest bids. Names will not be shared. Bidding will open Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 12:00 pm and close December 29, 2016 at 5:00 pm.The winning bids will be announced on the main athletics department webpage and the Facebook page on December 30, 2016. Winners will be responsible for cost to ship items or they can pick them up in person at the Athletics Department.
