MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Florida Memorial University’s football season opener against Keiser, scheduled for Sept. 12, 2020, is moving to the Multi-Purpose Field on the Keiser campus in West Palm Beach, Fla. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Betty T. Ferguson Complex in Miami Gardens, Fla.fmu fb action

Due to measures set in place by the City of Miami Gardens authorities during the COVID-19 pandemic, FMU and Keiser officials agreed to move the game to the Multi-Purpose Field.

"It’s the next day and the health and safety of our student-athletes and staff is at the forefront of every decision we make,” said FMU Athletics Director Ernest T. Jones. “We appreciate the Mid-South Conference and Keiser honoring our request for a location change for the opening game.”

The Oct. 3, 2020 game against Keiser, which was originally scheduled to be played in West Palm Beach, will now be played in Miami Gardens.
