Florida Memorial University will open the 2020-2021 HBCU Football Season playing its first game in over 61 years. The Lions will travel to West Palm Beach, FL Saturday to face defending Sun Division (Mid-South Conference) champs and preseason conference-favorite Keiser University.
FMU opened fall camp nearly a month ago under the watchful eye of head coach Tim "Ice" Harris and his staff.
The Lions have published an eight-game schedule - all against Sun Division opponents with homecoming scheduled for October 10 when they host St. Thomas.
"[You've] gotta love this," said Lions linebackers coach Sabbath Joseph at Wednesday's practice. "I wouldn't want to be doing anything else but this."
Saturday's kickoff is set for 1:30 pm ET
