Every year the CIAA has various forms of attractions, but the food trucks take the cake as one of the best ways to enhance your dining experience.
You can find these trucks around the Spectrum Center, formerly known as Time Warner Cable Arena, through Sunday.
Trucks that participated in the past have included: Matrimony Wings and Pizza, Smoke n Go BBQ, Southern Cake Queen, 2Soul4Wheels, Cupcake Delirium, Roaming Fork, The Tin Kitchen, and many more.
One high demand food truck: Seafood Connection received rave reviews on social media
One Facebook user said: “The food is so delicious it don’t make no sense. Every bite made my soul smile.”
That no doubt brought a smile to the faces of Seafood Connection owners Jamie Walker and Yashica Russell.
Talk about a smorgasbord of food: Asian, Mexican, Traditional American, Barbecue, Mediterranean, Southern Cuisine and deserts can be found during CIAA. The street food vendors give Charlotte, NC an opportunity to showcase diversity through the way to our hearts—our stomachs!
According to ciaatournament.org, “Over the past 13 years CIAA has generated over $325 million in economic impact for Charlotte, NC the host of the city of the CIAA Tournament.”
Local restaurants and food trucks throughout the Charlotte, NC area have easily contributed to the economic success of CIAA.
