INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Subcommittee has selected the 64 teams and 16 first and second-round sites for the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship. Per NCAA policy, the top-16 seeds are guaranteed to host and matchups between conference opponents were avoided in the first two rounds of the championship.NCAA Men's Tennis

First and second-round competition takes place May 10-12 and features four teams playing in a single-elimination format. The winner of each site advances to the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex/Atkins Tennis Center in Urbana, Ill., where the 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 17-21. The event will be hosted by Illinois-Champaign.

MEAC Champion South Carolina State, winners of nine of the last ten conference titles will take on the Tennessee Volunteers who received the fourth seed overall from the region in the NCAA draw. SCSU will play Saturday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at the Barksdale Stadium, in Knoxville TN.

Prairie View A&M will travel to Waco, TX to face 13th-ranked Baylor, Saturday, May 10 at 6pm at the Hurd Tennis Center.  PVAM earned an automatic bid by winning the SWAC Championships last weekend in New Orleans
