WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Chris Paul Family Foundation has made a donation of $50,000 to Winston-Salem State University Athletics.wssu ram head 17

“We appreciate the support from the Chris Paul Family Foundation. We hope that this inspires more individuals to give to the WSSU Team 250 Campaign,” WSSU Interim Director of Athletics George Knox said. “This will help with our commitment to our student-athletes not only on the field, but in the classroom and beyond.”

The donation is a part of the foundation’s support of the WSSU Team 250 Campaign. With the goal of raising $250,000 within a four-month period, the Team 250 Campaign will be used to address athletics needs such as scholarships, uniforms, and equipment. Each area addressed will help to provide better experiences and more opportunities for the student-athletes of Winston-Salem State University.

“Our family is honored to support student-athletes at Winston-Salem State University,” said representatives from the Chris Paul Family Foundation. “We challenge all alumni, friends, businesses, and corporations to join – TEAM 250 - $250,000 for student-athletes.
