Custom Search PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Wendell Moore has joined Prairie View A&M University men’s basketball as an assistant coach.

Moore brings extensive coaching experience on the high school, junior college, and Division I level.
Moore previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kan., helping Butler to a pair of final four appearances in the conference tournament.
Moore has previously served as an assistant coach at three NCAA Division I programs – Tulsa, UMKC and Florida Atlantic.
“Wendell brings a wealth of experience as both a coach and recruiter,” said PVAMU head men’s basketball coach Byron Smith. “He is a former standout player at Georgia Southern University, and has had assistant coaching stops at the Division 1 level. He will be counted on to recruit extensively in the Midwest as well as here in Texas. He will work on the court with our perimeter players, and is a tremendous asset to what I already feel is a really good staff.”
