HSRN will simulcast live a minimum of 25 games in 2015-16, including football, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, softball and baseball contests. Additionally, HSRN will carry live broadcasts of the weekly ASU football and basketball radio coach’s shows this season, beginning Thursday, Sept. 10.

“This is another exciting announcement for Alabama State Athletics,” Interim Athletic Director Melvin Hines said. “HSRN continues to be an industry leader, and our expanded partnership allows us a larger platform to showcase our talented student-athletes, coaches, programs and University.”

In addition to all games being broadcast on and on the free ASU athletics mobile app, as well as the ASU Hornet Sports Network, select games will be broadcast on Sirius / XM satellite radio in partnership with HSRN.

Games and shows will also be available on, the HSRN mobile app, in nearly a dozen cities via terrestrial radio, and on all tablets, Xbox, PlayStation and Wii devices.
"HSRN is extremely excited about our partnership with Alabama State Athletics," said Lamont Germany, General Manager/HSRN. "The Hornets are a signature brand in the HBCU community, and will bring an abundance of history and pedigree to our broadcast schedule in 2015.  We've enjoyed a strong relationship with ASU for several years, and cherish the opportunity to expand the association.  Quality and excitement are a given when the Hornets take the field, and HSRN can't wait to help share the Alabama State football experience with a national radio audience."
