KANSAS CITY, MO – Shaw University Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Kimberly Miller has been appointed to serve on the 2016 National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) Membership Committee effective immediately.
Miller will accompany 18 other committee members from NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA institutions.
Founded in 1979, the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators is the only nationally recognized collegiate professional membership organization whose mission is to enhance and promote opportunities for women in intercollegiate athletics administration.
NACWAA with nearly 2,000 members promotes the growth, leadership, and success of women as athletics administrators, conference commissioners, professional staff, coaches and student-athletes.
In her eight year at Shaw, Miller was also appointed as a member of the NCAA Division II Strategic Alliance Matching Grant Selection Committee earlier this year. She serves at the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), while overseeing internal operations, event planning and management.
