Hampton University's Francena McCrory and Livingstone College's Quanera Hayes missed directly qualifying for the U.S. Olympic team in the women's 400m finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Haywood Field in Eugene, OR.
St. Augustine's alum Barbara Pierre also came up short in the women's 100m finishing seventh in 11.10 seconds. Only the top three finishers directly qualify for the team.
