NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State University football team will return to the traditional 11-game schedule in 2020. Highlighting the schedule is an opening season matchup with Southern on Sept. 5 in the Detroit Classic. The Tigers will continue their slate with the annual Southern Heritage Classic versus Jackson State in Memphis.
Homecoming highlights the eight-game Ohio Valley Conference schedule. The Big Blue will host Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, Oct. 10, in Nissan Stadium.
TSU will host conference foes Jacksonville State, UT Martin and Eastern Illinois in Nashville. The Tigers will also welcome Clark Atlanta for a non-conference battle on Sept. 19.
Locations and times for the remaining home games will be released at a later date.
