Virginia Union University's women's basketball team continues to move up in the national rankings.  The Lady Panthers are now ranked fourth in the nation by the BucketWomen's Basketball Coaches of America (WBCA) in their latest poll, released on Tuesday, January 23.

The #4 ranking is the highest the Lady Panthers have been since they were ranked #2 in the pre-season poll on October 31.

VUU has the second-longest winning streak in the nation with 17 straight wins.

The Lady Panthers are also the only undefeated team in CIAA play with a perfect 8-0 in conference play.

Virginia State entered this week's poll at No. 25
